Apples are different, each in its way,
Some are round, while others will sway.
Fruits too are different, from apple to pear,
Like mango with yellow, it's fun to compare.
All fruits are unique, just like me and you,
None are the same, in shape, taste, or hue.

Not just fruits—objects differ,
Like two new tables, one clean, and other with germ.
Each thing is special, no two are the same,
Different by look, or even by name.

And each day is different, as you have seen,
Sunny today, while tomorrow could rain.
I may feel sleepy, tomorrow awake,
Each day brings a new feeling to take.

The world around us is full of surprise,
Yellow, red, blue, and green, so many in our eyes.
Not just colors, but smells and tastes,
And every difference makes life like treats.

None of us are the same,
We always do things in different ways.
Like I may like to do things nice and slow,
And you might not want to do so.

Not all of our opinions are the same anyway,
But none of them are wrong at the end of the day.
So do not worry if you are different,
That is what makes you unique, I meant.

Difference is what makes you unique,
And that makes you to be seen.
Even if you want to blend in with the crowd,
Your uniqueness speaks, clear and loud.

You might think others are just like you,
But they hide their uniqueness from view.
So be sure to like your differences,
And be proud to join the others.

When you grow up you will realize,
Being different is nice.
That makes people remember you,
And share their uniqueness with you, too.

I’m different from you, as you can see,
My favorite color’s yellow, that is me!
Your favorite may not be the same,
But that's just part of the game.

Well, sharing uniqueness is good,
Like seasonings in tasty food.
That makes them know you better,
Friendship also comes with wonder.

So here’s who I am, let me share with you.
I’m Emily, and here’s what’s true:
Yellow’s my favorite, I’m from China’s land,
I was born in Hangzhou, isn’t that grand?
I love swimming in the pool, and drawing is cool.
These are my differences, now you know,
Go share your uniqueness, let it show!
